You should check out the Kniepass Fortress from the 13th century. Walk through the historical paths of the state of Salzburg. A nice hike and the fortress is the coronation at the end. Special exhibitions about the art forms and traditions from the early times are available. These exhibitions within the fortress walls always leave an impression.
A museum of local history was opened in the mid-80s in one of the 16th century farms, the Kalchofengut.
